Refunds for glass coca cola bottles?
In many places you can return empty glass bottles for a refund so they can get recycled, like 5-10 cents per bottle. Is there a place in Ontario that accepts empty coke glass bottles? Mine are 237 mL.
Googling this I couldn't find anything other than the Beer Store but it only accepts alcoholic beverages because those have deposits on them.

Depending on vintage these bottles may be worth a lot more than deposit value: https://www.kijiji.ca/b-ontario/coke-bottles/k0l9004
Then again, how are you going to get these bottles from Alert to GTA?

Unless you paid a deposit up front when you bought them, you won't be getting a refund.
I think it's probably been at least 30 years since I last saw returnable bottles of pop in Ontario stores (usually the 750 mL size).

Which is why I qualified my post with "Depending on vintage..."
In any case, since the 237ml size seems to be unique to Canada there may be opportunities to sell to collectors south of the border, e.g. Collectible Canadian Coca-Cola BOTTLE green glass 237 ml Coca Cola in script | eBay

In Ontario there is no deposit on glass bottles (except for beer) so there are no refunds. You throw them in your recycling bin to be picked up by your city/town.

In Ontario, no. I drink Coca-Cola (regular) in the small glass bottles and I have to put them in the Recycle Bin. It is also becoming increasingly difficult to find the glass bottles. I do not want the 8 pack of smaller plastic bottles (but not as small as the 237 bottles). I did call Coca-Cola Canada to ask but my call was automatically rerouted to Atlanta where in fact they do sell the bottles.
I buy multiples of the bottles now whenever I see them and they do go fast. I do check the expiry dates though, especially now since they are considerably difficult to find. I do not want flat Coca-Cola.

You bet. Growing up I used to cycle along a provincial highway on Saturdays picking up discarded soft drink and beer bottles for the deposit. At the end of the day I'd have more money than I got in my allowance.
These days that would be considered dangerous and my parents would probably face shaming by neighbours for letting me do it. Besides, these days all one finds are discarded Tim Hortons coffee cups and, more recently, surgical masks.

There was a lot of drinking while driving back in the day. You could find so many beer bottles in the ditches.

My dad didn't like to litter so he installed a beer tap on the dashboard of his '51 Chevy. Line ran back to a small tank in the trunk that he'd fill with beer and pressurize with a bicycle pump. Different time those days.

Correct, but I'm disappointed that the 237 mL bottles use high fructose corn syrup instead of cane sugar. Does anyone know where you can buy cola with real sugar, preferably in glass bottles?
Do people actually buy these bottles? At $2 a bottle it would probably be worthwhile selling them but I can't imagine why anyone would want to buy them.

With the plastic bottles in BC, they no longer put that little rubber piece in the inside of the cap, which I think tends to make them go flat quicker.

Anyone remember those contests where you looked under the gray piece for a a prize (usually another pop). The odds were quite good, or maybe I was just lucky. God times in the 80's

Run...dont walk.....to a store that sells Mexican Coke. Once you drink that you won't want to drink the swill that is Canadian or American made Coke.
I know it costs more... but cane sugar makes it taste so much better.
